IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

I have to take a moment and talk about the rape scene from last week. Last season we have grown to like Jaime, he has redeemed himself in our eyes. But he is not a good person. And he was pushed to his breaking point. We can not compare this scene to the book. The timeline in the book and the show are different and in the book what we are seeing is Jaime’s point of view. In the show we are shown as an impartial outsider. It was not an easy thing for me to watch, but I will not chastise the creator for it. I will however fight to my last breath this was unquestionably rape however. No means no even in Westoros!

Across the Narrow SeA

We open this week with Missandei teaching Grey Worm to read. They a habe a nice bonding moment before Dany interrupts them so that they can brake into the up till now impregnable city of Meereen. Grey Worm then gets to rally the slaves of the city to take arms against their masters. Not very hard once you give them the materials needed. Taking Meeteen was a harder and filthier process in the book. I realize that it isn’t always practical or possible to follow the book, but I wish that they had kept this.

King’s Landing

Am I seriously the only one to think that Jaime is nuts to trust a sell sword wit his most precious secret? Although I did like when Bronn Stole Jaime’s golden hand and smacked him with it. I also liked that he stood up for Tyrion. Explaining the how much the imp trusts his big brother. We then jump to Jaime sitting with Tyrion in his cell. He asks him if he killed Joffrey, he denies it, naturally and asks for help. He is also certain that Sansa is not resonsible for the murder.

Speaking of Sansa, we get another scene on a boat. We have had several of those. Little Finger explains that they are headed to the Earie were he will marry Lysa (poor man doesn’t have a clue about the level of crazy we is getting into). In this moment he points out that the necklace that Sansa was given by Sir Dantos and wearing at the Purple Wedding was missing a stone. As we talk about a friendship that Little Finger has acquired and the murder of Joffrey we cut to the Margaery Tyrell and Lady Olenna discuss their plots for the young lady’s future. IF you haden’t cought on to who was responsible for the murder so far (and I know that there are some who have been rolling their eyes that not everyone had figured it out), it becomes pretty clear who is the guilty party. While they don’t come right out and say it, its clear.

As for Cersei she invites Jaime to her room. She questions his loyalty to his family, to his son. She does this because the wants San’s head. Literally. In response Jaime pleads for his brothers innocence. There is no reference to last week at all.

Margaery Brakes into Tommen’s room. The decor has not changed since he has moved in and he was having issues getting to sleep before she walked in. But who can blame him. Oh look a cat. I love cats, he’s so cute a fluffy. But she I’m getting side tract. She manages to charm the kid. But he’d be nuts not to. She is good at what she does.

Jaime Meets with Brienne, and in spite of his sisters demand that he hunt down Sansa he gives her his sword (the one that was forged from Ned’s Ice) and asks the Lady Warrior to uphold he vow to protect the Stark girls. He then gives a really night suite of armor… and Pod (who is adorable). She names her new sward Oathkeeper. A fitting name.

THE WALL

The Crows ready for the battle that will be landing on their door step in a matter of time. They are training up and fortifying that defenses. But the fact is that they do not have enough men. Not near enough.

Sam is going nuts, he regrets his choice to send Gilly away. And John tries to figure out were his brother would be. He then gets permission to go to Crastor’s Keep, which is exactly were he figures that Bran will be. The scene at Crastor’s is not a pretty one. Crastor’s wives are probably missing the good old days. And it is revealed to the mutineers what was done with the Boys born in the Keep. I’m sorry I can’t be bothered to learn  these peoples names. I don’t have very high hopes for their survival. But they continue the tradition of baby sacrificing to the Walkers. We also find out what has happened to Ghost, he has been caged, this makes me very upset.

We pan to Bran, who as it turns out John was not entirely wrong about. He can hear the baby crying so he can not be very far. Summer then gets trapped as well. While investigating they get captured, they are not doing well at all. Poor Hodor! Jojen does not look like he doing well, by this point he looks like he’s about to… Yup, he just keeled over. Full on ceisure.

And since we might have forgotten just how scary the White Walkers are we end with one of them collecting the last baby they will get and bringing it to the Fortress of Solitude. Were unhappy baby gets converted by means of the Vulcan Mind Meld.

Lets be clear the comment section is a spoiler freeish zone. What that means is you can discuss anything that has happened on the TV show thus far. If you have read the books, and you spoil anything for the rest of us. I will hunt you down and make you watch all the Twilight Movies in marathon with no breaks Clockwork Orange style.
