MONDAY RECAP: True Blood: Season 7 Episode 1 Jesus Gonna Be Here

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

Well folks, we are here, it’s the final season of True Blood. The last few season’s have been admittedly a bit weird. But I am still excited for this. Lets hope that this one is good folks!

Bellefleur’s

We start were we left off with the gang being attacked at Merlotte’s… nope wait, Bellefleur’s by hep-v infected vamps. Sam’s prego girl friend, who’s name I never bothered learning, because it is full from Game of Thrones, and he runs after her on 4 legs. And suddenly all the bad vamps disappear. Like, pouf, well no not like, it was pouf! And we learn that Tara has been killed.

And the credits roll. I can never hear that song ever again without have a weird series of disjointed disturbing images running through my mind. And yet I know all the words.

They took a lot more then just Sam’s gf, they took Arlene and Holly as well. Lafayette is drinking himself silly as Sookie tries unsuccessfully to shut out people’s thoughts, and she hears Alcide think that its kind of all her fault for not being able to stay away from vampires. She storms out, alone, not a good idea for a girl who attracts trouble like no one else.

Sam gets busted turning back into a human, and has to talk some guy who I have never seen before, so how is he important? Bill and Sam figure out a game plan. Every human gets a vampire and they will reconvene in the morning. Alcide keeps calling Sookie looking for her, causing her phone to ring far too loudly, but she does not get attacked before she has a chance to chuck her phone, guess she isn’t on contact.

Morocco

Pam is in Morocco, were she plays Russian Roulette with some very cocky guy. But this is Pam, and I believe in her. And she wins, duh! She is given instructions that will hopefully lead to a not dead Eric.

She finds out that the only clean blood is child’s blood, and does something noble, she refuses to drink from the little tyke.

The Bellefleur house

Back at the Bellefleur house Adilyn likes to live dangerously and opens the window to chat with Jessica. Deborah Ann Woll is one of my favorite actresses on the show. She always manages to make have the feels. Watching this conversation is great, you can see that these girls could be BFF’s. It all ends with Adilyn drinking from Jessica, for you know GPS capability. As the sun rises, Jessica shows that hse has brass balls by refusing to leave, she tries to refuse to go inside, but when Adilyn runs out she has no choice. But one of my favorite characters is safe for another day.

Sookie’s house

Alcide freaks out because of Sookie walked home alone. I can’t blame him, regardless of what his thoughts are, she put herself in danger, and that is stupid. I can’t imagine how hard it is for her to always know what people are thinking. I would hate it. I like not knowing, because, knowing is just impossible. So I understand that she needs to be alone, but for Christ sake’s, woman, don’t be an idiot! Also why do they not have a designated vampire, her of all people should have one. She climbs into bed and they seem to patch things up. And oh god are we actually going to get what we have been waiting for for years? Nope, True Blood is a big giant tease!

Lafayette’s

Lafayette, has changed in the 7 seasons we have known him. He isn’t the same seemingly carefree guy he once was. I still adore him of coarse. Wait! Can vampires get high? Seriously, this makes zero sense to me.

On the road some were

I like Violet, threatening to use someone’s head as a candy dish after they are a smart ass. But Jason is not feeling all that great about it. He is feeling emasculated. And he freaks out, which is apparently what she has been waiting for. And right there on the hood of his car, they have sex. Classic.

Abandoned warehouse

Bill and Andy walk into a creepy abandoned warehouse, probably thinking they will find the hep-v vamps. But instead they find the people who had confronted Jason on the road. They are looking for revenge. And are all too willing to take Bills offer to kill him. But Andy fakes them out. He convinces them to give over one of their guns, and turns it on the youngest member of the group and talks him down in a way that he could not have done in season 1. Wait so we are calling them H-Vamps? Does that sound lame to any one other then me?

Fangtasia

We find out that the… gulp… H-Vamps (throw up in my mouth a little) are in Fangtasia. Holly, Arlene, and prego GF are chained up the bondage marry go round from season 2. God that basement has seen a lot of action.

Church

The citizens of Bontemps convene at the church. Sookie walks in and tries to offer some support to  Lettie Mae, but is refused and told that it is all her fault. As she storms out hearing people’s thoughts she changes her mind and tells them that she can hear them, and maybe it is her fault, but people they love are suffering, and she wants to help.

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

Wall

We are back at the Wall with Jon Snow negotiation with Mance Rayder for piece, but that won’t happen because Stannis and Sir Davos come ridding in and save the day. Mance refuses the offer to have his men saved because the wildlings do not bend the knee and Jon gives Stanis some advice.

and now their watch is ended, we attend the cremation of the fallen Brothers of the Nights Watch. Jon takes Ygritte’s body beyond The Wall to burn her were she belongs. And you can see the pain on his face like nothing you have ever seen on him.

the sight of the Heart Tree was one of the more beautiful shots this season has offered us. And then creepy dead people coming out of the ground. And is it just me or does any one else want to watch Jason and the Argonauts now? Bran takes the wheel for Hodor again,to give the, a fighting chance. Jojen gets a very enthused stabbing and little creepy girl tells them to go with her the terminator will kill them (ya I know my pop culture references are all of the place tonight, but that’s what its like inside my brain). They are brought underneath the tree, into its root system, and boy does it look damp. The three eyed raven is an old man, who announces taht Bran will never walk again… But he will fly.

King’s Landing

The Mountain lies dying, Pycell believes that he can not be saved for the poison, but Qyburn, who you may remember treated Jaime’s hand, is not of the same mind. Cersei is fitting he fate in the only way she knows how by begging and pleading and when that doesn’t work, threats! As it turns out, she realizes that Tywin never believed about the incest that happened between herself and Jaime. She announces that it is true, and that if it is what she has to do to get out of marrying into the Tyrell she will confirm to the world that it is true. She then goes to Jaime, and tells him all about it. She is clearly manipulating hm, but he either can’t tell or doesn’t care.

Jaime goes to Tyrion’s cell and sets him free, they make their way down a corridor and say their goodbyes. Its a short moment but its a touching one. Tyrion finds himself in his old room. the Tower of the Hand of the King. The person he finds in bed is not who he expected. If Shae hadn’t managed to rip his heart out in one clean tug, she has gotten the job done now. And her murder is totes understandable. He grabs a cross bow off of the wall and finds his father in the Loo. Tywin tries to talk his way out of a bolt through the heart, but Tyrion has had enough. Also, it is almost like Tywin has no clue on how to speak to his son, he should know what the buttons not to push are, but well his death may shock some, but really after everything he has done to Tyrion, who can blame him? Pycell shows up just then and takes him to a nice big boat to be taken across the narrow sea.

Meereen

Dany learns that the homeless shelters that she has created for the former slaves are as unwelcome in Meereen as they are in North America. The gentleman before her asks that he be allowed to sell himself back to his former master. She agrees to let him sign a contract, since she believes that all people should make their own choices in life. And then she is faced the the fact that her beloved dragons have killed humans, children. She chains them in so that they must stay in the catacombs of the city. The look on her face… I could feel her heart breaking.

Riverlands

Brienne discovers Arya practicing her water dancing. They have this really nice lady warrior moment. And Brienne realize who she has been talking to when the Hound comes out of hiding.the Hound actually seems to try and be protecting Arya. FIGHT! The thing about the Hound is that he is willing to fight dirty, so just as it seems that he is beat and going to be let go because of mercy and blah blah blah, he does what he does best. But in the end he gets punched in the balls and has his ear Mike Tysoned. And he falls down the cliff. But it is all for nothing because they can’t find Arya after the battle is done. Arya goes to find the Hound, he is badly wounded, and is going to die.But Arya still won’t go with Brienne, she also doesn’t kill the Hound even after a very valiant effort on his part.

Arya finds a boat of her own, and asks to be taken to the North, to the Wall, but is told they are going to Braavos. She hands over her coin and says the words that I have been waiting to hear. The ones that are the tag line to Season 4, “Valar morghulis”, all men must die. And off she goes, and so ends another season!

Next week starts the last season of True Blood, see you then!

Lets be clear the comment section is a spoiler freeish zone. What that means is you can discuss anything that has happened on the TV show thus far. If you have read the books, and you spoil anything for the rest of us. I will hunt you down and make you watch all the Twilight Movies in marathon with no breaks Clockwork Orange style.

MONDAY RECAP: GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 4 Episode 9 The Watchers on the Wall

ImageIF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

This weeks episode takes place entirely at the wall. We have been hearing about this battle for several seasons, and it is finally here.

We start this weeks episode with a pissing contest between Ygritte and the leader of the Thenns. The gist of which is if Ygritte has not already killed Jon, then she will.

We then switch to a discussion about love between Sam and Master Aemon. And he gives us a rare glimpse of what his life was like back when he was a Targaryen. I love these little snippets of his past life. Sam then finds out that Gilly is alive, and tells her that he will never let her out of his sight again. Awww, but that won’t end well. But then he leaves her to go protect the wall. But not before laying a wet one on her. And he is guaranteed to die, after he promises that he will not. Dammit Sam, what were you thinking? Do you not watch this show, like at all?

We see a the wildlings approaching the wall, like a big pack of fire. And Jon gets a rare moment of getting to be the bigger person over Alliser Thorne. They really should have blocked the tunnel. as the hordes of wildlings get closer to the wall, I wonder, if its just my connection or if the effects are really not that great. I guess I will find out when I get it on Blu-Ray next year. But hey, a mammoth! Elephants are by far my favorite animals, and mammoths are just fluffy elephants (even better). Is it just me, or does that mammoth look like he is claymation?

But oh look, they are being attacked on both sides. Ygritte’s gang is taking them from the front and the giant mass of wildlings from the rear. That was not meant to be dirty, but oh well, that is were my mind lives. And Alliser gives a very good pep talk. But this is GoT, We may win in the end, but it will cost us dearly. In the books, these two attacks happen separately, and while at first I did not like the change, I have to say, this makes more sense.

Ok so I had seen this next move coming in the book. Jon being put in charge. Since we first learned that Jon was going to the Wall, this is what it has been moving towards. Even if it winds up being temporary (which, I have not gotten that far in the books so I could not tell you even if I wanted to, which I don’t). Ooo, giant throwing giant arrows. Oh and look the mammoth is pulling the door out by the hinges. So if it IS claymation, does that mean that I can get a figure?

I don’t want to go in depth into the fight sequenses, because, well you really should just watch and enjoy it. But I do love a well thought out war. Sam shows an amazing amount of growth in this episode. If in past episodes were he has managed great things, like killing the White Walker, it was more a fluke. In this episode though he is showing that he has become a much more confident man. He is even taking on some leadership. But the star of the episode is Kit Harrington. I have been waiting to see him take the leadership role that he was born to take, that he has yearned for watching his brother train for all his life.

GHOST! Sam lets out Ghost, and he does his part to protect the Wall.Ygritte spots jon fighting the Thenn leader. And we wonder what she will do, but hten he spots her right back, and some kid (don’t ask me his name, there are way to many people in this show for that) shoots her. And the young lover are reunited for one moment, and we learn that Jon knows nothin’. the front side of the wall seems to have been secured with the last man standing being Tormund who is kept alive for future questioning.

And Jon set off to Mance, he admits that it is a stupid plan, but it is the only one that they have. especially since he does not take Longclaw with him.

Sam has chocked me by not dying, but there is still one episode left to the season, so there is time for that still.

MONDAY RECAP: GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 4 Episode 8 The Mountain and the Viper

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

Wall

We start this week’s episode in Mole’s Town, and i don’t know about you, but from the moment that I realize were we are, I know that it is going to end poorly. And oh look, wildlings! This has been coming for quite some time, no one can be particularly surprised. From the moment that Sam brought Gilly to the whore house “for her own good” we knew that the curse of GoT would come back to bite him the plump rump.

Sam believes that she is dead, and blames himself. They discuss what affect this will have on Castle Black. Fact is that they need to start figuring their shit out before it hits the fan.

Meereen

Grey Worm is caught looking at Missandei for just a bit to long. Which leads Dany to ask if they take the frank and the beans. Good question. The relationship between Missandei and Grey Worm is so sweet and tragic.

Sir Berristan received a letter and goes to see Sir Jorah to reveal the royal pardon that was sent after her spied on his beloved. Jorah requests to speak to Dany in private but is turned down. We then see him go to her throne room. She asks him flat out why he received a pardon. He points out that this is Tiwyn’s doing, that he is trying to tare them apart. And I do believe that he is right, but that does not excuse his behavior. She is hurt, and he is heart broken, because he knows that nothing good will come of this revelation. She exiles him, she wants nothing to do with him. this is hard to watch. We have known since season 1 what he did, but he fell in love with her, he stopped her from being poisoned and has worked only for her ever since.

Dreadfort

Theon, Reek, Theon, boy that poor guy. His identity issues must be killing him. He walks into Moat Cailin with a white flag to convince them to retreat. The fact the their leader can’t stand up without randomly toppling over, but that doesn’t stop him from refusing Theon’s offer, but then he gets an axe in the head from one of his own me. I guess they are home sick.

Ramsey offers Moat Cailin to his father. He gets re-payed with nobility, literally. This makes him very happy! And it’s back to Reek, seriously he is going to need some serious head shrinkage.

Eyrie

Littlefinger fights for his claim to rule the Vale. Here is a man who is playing the hell out of the Game of Thrones. Poor Sansa must endure some more questioning. It never gets easier for her. She tells them the truth about who she is, and I am not sure if this is smart or not. When it comes time to tell what happened to Aunt Crazy Pants, she puts on a good act. Telling the council of old people that her Aunt killed herself. Is this some self preservation that I sense? But they believe her, mostly because the women was completely bonkers. He then tries to convince the Depends council that Lord Robyn needs to take the Iron Throne.

In the scene that follows I actually ask out loud if Sansa is getting smart. She vouched for Littlefinger because if they hang him, what will they do to her? When she tells him that she knows what he wants and he asks if she really does she just looks at him, and I feel like she does.

I freakin love Arya. Her reaction when she is told that her aunt has died makes me lol for realz. And kapow Sansa is a women! Just like that!

King’s Landing

Tyrion and Jaime enjoy a good bit of reminiscing. I have trully loved these scenes between the brothers. and now the moment that we have all been waiting for. The Viper has been waiting for this moment for many years. Now someone has to explain to me how killing someone proves that you are innocent of killing someone… But this is still a fun scene. Prince Antonio Banderas fully intends on getting his revenge, and he does some fancy foot work. ‘You reaped her, you murdered her, you killed her children” he repeats over and over again. But he will not let the Mountain die until he feces up to this and this would be his undoing, and our beloved Tyrion. Peter Dinklage’s face is priceless. side note, this scene was a lot grosser in the show then I remember it being in the book. Is it just me?

Lets be clear the comment section is a spoiler freeish zone. What that means is you can discuss anything that has happened on the TV show thus far. If you have read the books, and you spoil anything for the rest of us. I will hunt you down and make you watch all the Twilight Movies in marathon with no breaks Clockwork Orange style.

THAI TUESDAY: Pompeii

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE YET, STOP READING, GO SEE IT, THEN COME BACK!!!!!!

Let’s just get this out of this out of the way, this is a movie that is fun to make fun of. It is not a good movie, but if you like these kinds of movies (and I do), then settle in for some good times. Also Kit Haringtons abs! you also get some decent cleavage.

I do so love Keifer Sutherland as a bad guy. He is such a fascinating baddie. And out walk Kit Harington with rippling six pack and I wonder why the hell Jon Snow has to dress like a freakin Eskimo all the time (a sexy eskimo, but still). And don’t give that bull about he lives at a wall made entirely of ice story, cuz that doesn’t cut it! Lucky me, the watching of Spartacus, has laid the groud work so that I understand how being a gladiator works.

When Milo takes cassia for a lovely horse ride and they are caught coming back by the senator, Milo realizes that this is the man that butchered his village. Now the fight sequence in the arena, that is what I came here to watch (and by here I mean my living room). While Atticus and Milo free themselves from the tower (by destroying the tower, that’s one way to do it) and kill all their attackers, Corvus weasels himself an engagement to Emily Browining (who’s career, seems to me peeked at a Series of Unfortunate Events).

Oh goody, the exciting part finally starts just as Corvus thinks that he will get everything that he wants. we took FAR to long to get here. Rioting and uprising ensue of coarse. And a lot of awesome shots are delivered. There is a bit of bad green screen, but on the whole, the effects are quite good. This is why you come see a movie like this one. If the fire balls didn’t kill you, the giant tidal wave just might do it, and there is always smoke inhalation. And the question I have been asking myself since the movie started… In a battle between Jon Snow and Jack Bauer who would win? is answered. And I am happy to say, that Jack would have won if he was not chained to the chariot. But he is left to be swallowed by a river of liquid hot magma (get it?). I have to say I would have been disappointed if any one had survived.

Love it/Hate it: I loved the trailer for Sin City 2, I can’t wait to see it. Ok, in all seriousness, I love Keifer, I’d watch him pick his nose. Hate, its been done, the stable boy and the lady fair, blah blah blah. But totally worth it for shirtless Kit. Lets be honest this forbidden love story angle, is not what I am here to watch, I want shirtless men and natural disasters (yes I am twisted, get over it!). Also, I would love to see something different from Kit. This character is essentially Jon as slave in hot weather.

Favorite Quote:  Gladiators do not beg!

My Rating: 3 out of 6 six packs (cuz Kit harington!).

Other Ratings: IMDB – 5.8 stars out of 10. Rotten Tomatoes – 28%. Flixster – 41%. Entertainment Weekly – C+. Sourcefed Nerd – Steve gave it a 4 out of 10 and Meg gave it a a 5 out of 10.

As always, have a geektastic day, see you next time!

MONDAY RECAP: GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 4 EPISODE 7 Mockingbird

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

King’s Landing

Jaime is upset that Tyrion threw away the opportunity to live out the remainder of his life on The Wall. His second trial by combat is approaching, and while Jaime could not protect him the first time around because he wasn’t there, his left hand is just not strong enough for the task this time around. Tyrion will need someone strong and fast to compete against The Mountain.

Tyrion tries to convince Bron to fight for him in the coming battle, but as I have been saying all season, you can not trust a man who sells his sword to the highest bidder. And Cersei has payed him well. In his credit he does seem to feel bad about what he is doing.

The Prince of Dorne pays the next visit to the dungeon. And revelas that Cersei tried to convince him that her brother was guilty of the kings death. He talks about his first meeting with the then baby that would turn into Tryion (and winning me over for good). That story nearly broke my heart. Cersei has always loathed her youngest brother. She has spent so much time trying to get ride of him, and she may just get her way. But Oberyn will do what he can, he volunteers to be the imps champion.

Riverlands

Arya reveals her true identity to a dying man. This is the first time since the death of her father that she was willingly done this. But this man will not live much longer, so why not. But they are then attacked right after The Hound ends the old man’s suffering. Sandor is bitten in the ear (?!) and snaps his attackers neck (turns out it was Bitter, and Arya, after asking for the man’s name stabs the second attacker in the heart. She learns fast. I’m not sure if I should be worried or excited about the cold way that she kills a man. She seemingly feels no remorse.

Oh no, it was his neck that got bit. Arya tries to help him. But this is a man who is scared, both physically and emotionally. He will have nothing to do with fire. Even if it saves his life. I’m not sure if we have ever heard the story of what happened to his face in the show before. But it is the first time that we have heard the story from him. The friendship that they are developing may be one of my favorite things in this show.

On no wait it’s Pod and Brienne… AND HOT PIE! He talks a lot, Brienne does not seem to like the chatter box. Of coarse after hearing the name Stark he runs away crying traitor. But he decides to trust Brienne, he tells her about Arya. He also gives her a token to give to Arya. And I have to agree with him, this one did turn out much better. He has gotten very good at baking.

Wall

At the Wall they discuss the plan for defending the Castle Black against the coming attack. Jon Snow as usually is feeling no love and his suggestion to barricade the tunnels is shot down.

Meereen

Daario enters Dany quarters uninvited. A big no-no. But we get to see his butt. This is very unexciting because I do not like this poor mans Daario. I just do not feel this guy, he isn’t irresistible. He is supposed to make you want to drop your pants at a simple look, but this guy just doesn’t do that.

Hey, it’s Sir Friendzone. Does it feel to any one else that this is the most the we have seen him all season? I miss him. He tries very hard to discourage Dany from associating with Daario. Doesn’t really help though.

Dragonstone

Selyse seems to actually be feeling jealous. But only for a moment. It is revealed that their daughter will be coming with them on their upcoming cruise. Poor girl, no god can come of this.

Eyrie

Sansa walks out and sees freshly fallen snow. And I actually get the feeling that she is going to break into song (Do you want to build a snowman?). Instead she builds a replica of Winterfell. Robin tries to seduce her by telling her that he will through any one she doesn’t like out the moon door. But as things usually do with spoiled children he has a tantrum and destroys the beautiful creation. She slaps him (and I root for her like I never have, that kid had it coming). And in walks creepy. After talking the lovely young lady that she could have been his child, he kisses her (I just threw up in my mouth a little).  She then gets called into the throne room to meet with dear aunt Lysa. And I am screaming at her to listen to that instinct that tells her to run. After threatening to throw her out he moon door, Petyr intervenes with some lovely lies… And then throws her down the door. But before he does it, he tells her the truth, that the only women he has ever loved was Catelyn.

MONDAY RECAP: GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 4 EPISODE 6 The Laws of Gods and Men

Image

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

I am the only one who hums along to the theme song? Ya, just me, well I’m cool with being crazy. Let us begin this grand ol’ (you know 5 week old) tradition of recapping GoT.

Braavos

We open this weeks episode on a very impressive sight. Braavos. I have to say, passing between that guys legs mus be at least a little intimidating. Stannis visits the Iron Bank to try and convince them to back him. But these are not men they care about rightful claims. These are men that care about money. They are quite literally bankers, summing up his paltry equity and telling him it is not enough for a loan. Welcome to the real world. But then again Sir Davos, is willing to co sign his loan. I love this man. He is loyal, it worries me though, lets be honest, truly good men do not do well in Westeros.

Dreadfort

Yara is not someone I would want to mess with. She has always seemed like a strong character. So maybe we don’t piss her off. But I don’t really get why she is taking this so seriously. She hardly knows her brother, and the fact is, when they last saw each other she was kind of a bitch to him. But I guess its one of those things were only she can mess with him. Theon (now named Reek) has gone bat shit crazy. But then again, that isn’t such a shock after every thing he has gone through. But it would seem that Ramsey has bigger balls then she does.

When Ramsey offers to repay Reek for not running away with his sister, he is a bit hesitant. Almost like he has been tortured,… Weird. You see the layers of scars that the torture has left him with and for an instant I feel bad for him. This is not the same person. This person is broken. Of coarse in the world of GoT you don’t get a nice bath without having to give something back. So he will have to pretend to be the Thoen that has died in spirit.

Meereen

Those dragons sure are getting big! YAY! Jesus Christ Dany has a lot of titles, maybe we should just cut it down to the most important. She now has to face the repercussions of her dragons actions and her own. I don’t not blame her for the crucifixion of the masters, but to have her actions questioned, must have been a slap to the face. Hizdahr makes a very good and compelling case, and she agrees to let him bury his father.

King’s Landing

Ah the Small Council! They discuss the impending doom that is Dany. They are starting to take her seriously. Except of coarse for Tywin. Who seems to think that a simple army can defeat 3 dragons. PFFT!

Down in the dungeon, Jaime comes to get Tyrion ready for his trial. The evidence against Tyrion is not promising. Jaime tries to talk to Tywin, tries to speak in Tyrion’s defense. At least he believes in his brother. In the bargain, he gets tricked into leaving the Kings Guard and in return Tyrion gets sent to the Wall. But the Imp is smarter, he remembers that Ned was promised the same thing. The look on his face when Shea walked in, it broke my heart. What was she offered in return for this testimony? And then he flips right out. Cersei pushed just a bit to far. The episode ends with him demanding a trial by combat and everyone but Prince Oberyn looks worried.

MONDAY RECAP: GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 4 EPISODE 5 First of His Name

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE TURN BACK NOW AND COME BACK YOU HAVE!

King’s Landing

After the coronation of King Tommen, Cersei and Margaery have a schokingly civilized conversation. This seems terribly out of charecter for Cersei. Cersei seems to be fully on board for the union of Tommen and Margaery. Which naturally has me suspicious. Kings Landing seems to revolve around Cersei today. We see her meet with Margaery, Tywin, and Prince Oberyn. She is a busy woman. She fears for her daughter, and no amount of reassurance can help “every were in the world they hurt little girls”. We see a rare tender moment for her, and yet I still can’t help but feel that there is some plan behind it.

Across the Narrow Sea

Dany is being counselled by the men in her entourage. She makes the decision to not sail for Westeroes and I want to smack my head against my key board because I desperately want to see her attack  with her dragons.

Vale of Arryn

Little Finger and Sansa make their way to the gates that would lead to the Vale. And hey look, its crazy and crazy spawn. If you thought for a second that Lady Lysa had grown sane, well you were wrong. As for Robyn he’s still a spoiled brat. We found that she is bat shit crazy for Little Finger. And he looks like he wants to throw up in his mouth.

Sansa gets the 3rd digree from aunty dearest. She sees what we all do, that Petyr has some interest in the young woman that is not entirely PG-13. Sansa is forced to swear that she is still a virgin, poor girl, it never does get easier for her.

On the King’s Road

Arya goes through her nightly list, she explains what the list means to the Hound, and then names him. The next morning Arya shows off the skills that she was taught by Syrio, I love how loyal she is to him (I still secretly hope that he made it out of that fight).

We get to see some very bad green screen with Pod and Brienne. As Pod struggles with his horse, Brienne tries, unsuccessfully to free Pod. But he isn’t the kind to just cut and run. After failing to cook a meal, Pod gets rebuffed when trying to help Brienne with her armor. While discussing his responsibility’s while working for Tyrion, Brienne realizes that she may have underestimated him. He may seem like a goof, but he has a lot ( 😉 ) to offer.

THE WALL

Jojen has seen better days, he looks like he is about to give out at any moment. The way he talks does not lend much faith that he will recover either. Bran comes this close (holds up fingers) to be reunited with John, as the men of the Watch get ready to retake Craster’s Keep. Of coarse, Locke betrays John and tries to kidnap Bran (I have been shouting at my screen since he introduced himself to John trying to warn him, but John just would not listen). But Bran takes over poor Hodor’s body and free’s himself?! and then the Reeds (including girl Reed who I just can not be bothered to remember his name. John proceeds to fight Karl, he wins. And Snow fights with Rast, Snow wins (YAY). The apisode ends with Craster’s wives being freed and the burning of the Keep
